Hebrews 12:1-2
"...let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfector of our faith..."

Raindrops

Many people have told me that they have been waiting awhile for an update on the boys.  It is incredible to see the progress that they have made in the 16 weeks since being home.  That progress has come with a lot of time, effort, love, tears, frustration, laughter, chaos, madness, blessings, joy and prayer...A LOT of prayer.

Jenna and I took the boys out on Friday as the clouds rolled in...hoping that the overcast skies would give us a good photo opportunity.  Unfortunately, our time was cut short when it began to rain but we didn't complain since we have been in such need for precipitation.  Here are just a couple of shots that we managed to get.

They love each other so much!  One of the reasons that we went with our adoption agency was the fact that once we accepted their referrals, they were removed immediately from the orphanage and put into a foster home TOGETHER.  They were in that foster home in Africa for 8 months, during which time they created this incredible brother bond.

Can you tell how they have grown about 1 1/4" since coming home!

Jayden:  "Mom, you can no drink the rain.  It will make you sick, right?"
Me:  "No, it will not make you sick.  You can drink the rain."
Jayden:  "Woohoo!  Woohoo!  Me gonna drink the rain!  Tate, you can drink the rain!"
Tate:  "Me gonna 'yick' it!"
And that they did...laughing and giggling, they drank and "yicked" the rain.
