Kisses from Katie
My friend, Mindy, started doing a wonderful project called "Happy Day". You can read about the recap of her project week here. I was her Day 4 project (go ahead...click on the hi-lites before you go any further 'cuz you won't want to miss a thing about "Happy Day"). I am so grateful that Mindy picked me to share her book with. I L.O.V.E. this book! I loved it so much that I went out and bought several copies that I could gift to others for Christmas. I tell everyone that it is really not a book about adoption, though some would tend to think that. It is a book about a young woman who just wanted to be used by God and was willing to do whatever He asked....despite the cost. It is a story showing how God can take ordinary people and do extraordianary things. When I grow up, I want to be like Katie. Having said that, please know that Katie is only 22 yrs. old and I am more than double her age. I wish I would have had her heart when I was 22.
This book will inspire and challenge you and quite possibly change your life. Though you will want to rush through it (like I did), take it slow (like Mindy did). I now want to read through it a second time to reflect on more of the book. It is SO good. Happy reading--from Mindy and me!
