If you enjoy reading, I suggest this book be the next one on your list. It is the story of Mary Beth Chapman's struggle through the loss of their youngest daughter, Maria--when she was hit by a vehicle driven by the Chapman's teenage son. Mary Beth is transparent in this book. She addresses questions of "Where is God when things fall apart? Why does God allow terrible things to happen? How can I survive hard times?" This book is about struggle and hope.
I can relate to so much of what she shared with their decision(s) to adopt and the death of their daughter. The lesson of choosing to see God doesn't only apply to these two areas though, it applies to all of life...even the everyday when it seems really hard or unfair.
"I could only see a few feet in front of me.
If I could see any farther than that,
the journey ahead would be too scary.
But He was showing me all that I needed,
just a few steps at a time...
giving me little glimmers of grace...
if I would choose to SEE them."

I suggest you grab a box of kleenex when you sit down to read this book and allow yourself a lot of free time, because you won't want to stop once you start.
The song that is playing was written by Steven Curtis Chapman after Maria's death entitled "With Hope". I would assume that it is Maria singing "Jesus Loves Me" at the very beginning of the song.
